You gotta have two things to win. You gotta have brains and you gotta have balls. Now, you got too much of one and not enough of the other. - Fast Eddie (The Color Of Money).

A cue is like an extension to your arm for many players. Some people keep their's for years while others replace them every 6 months. How long have you owned your current cue?

LATEST MATCH REPORTS...

HAMPSHIRE A 20 V 24 LONDON A

Inter CountyWe lost this fixture last year and when Hampshire won the opening set of this year's renewal 7 v 4 a repeat looked a distinct possibility.

However this London team has progressed since then and we battled to win the second set 7 v 4 to level the score by halftime before pushing on with an 8 v 3 win in the third set. Hampshire fought back, taking the last set 6 v 5 but London had already done enough to win the match.

Not a performance to remember and we'll need to play better at home to Berkshire this month, but we did come away from it with another 3 points and 4 wins out of 4 so far this season.

Good 3 out of 4's for Joe Prince, Alex Lawrence and Dave Fernandez but man of the match for me was captain Jack Pople with a hard earned 4 out of 4, including the winning frame.

Stats:
Joe Prince 3/4
Dave Rawlinson 2/4
Alex Lawrence 3/4
Nigel Clarke 2/4
Nigel Smith 2/4
Dave Fernandez 3/4
Jack Pople 4/4
Jerry Tickell 1/4
Robbie Robb 1/4
Andy Breen 1/4
Rupert Ward 2/4
