LATEST MATCH REPORTS...
London C 28 - 16 Hamshire C (13th September 2015)
London C 28 - 16 Hampshire C (13th September 2015)
London C has the potential to win the region for the first time, so with three matches left in the season we needed a great win and high score to put pressure on the other county teams!
With the comradeship that we have shown over the season, I had every confidence in the team coming through winners once again….and they did not let me down supporting each other throughout the ups and downs of the match winning by a great 28 – 16 score.
Man of the match goes to Bruno who played with great spirit and determination winning 4/ 4, also a shout out to Jonathan Tindall winning 4/4 too and Rob Speller allowing Joe to take his last match.
Watch out Berkshire you're next!
Set 1: We started off great with a break dish from Rob Speller and won the set 8-3.
Set 2: This set was shared between the two teams but London edged a little bit further ahead winning the set 6–5 making the score 14-8.
Set 3: London C has been battle hardened throughout the season in the mindset to up the energy and take set 3, and they did it again winning the set 8-3 taking us to a great 22-11 lead.
Set 4: we won the set 6-5 but they got lucky in a few frames and it should have been a higher score for London.
Stats:
Shane O'Reilly 2/4
Bruno D Silva 4/4
Rob Speller 1/3
Dan Heinink 3/4
Kulvinder Bath 2/4
Barry Barham 2/4
