A cue is like an extension to your arm for many players. Some people keep their's for years while others replace them every 6 months. How long have you owned your current cue?

London Seniors home to Hampshire

Inter County13.09.15 Hampshire (home)
London Seniors 11 Hampshire Seniors 9

A must win game for London eventually ended in success for our old timers with the final score flattering Hampshire a little.

The game began in confusion thanks to disruption on British Rail causing our opponents to arrive late in dribs and drabs, and frames being played out of sequence to allow Hampshire players to arrive without forfeiting frames.

After the first two sets London had fought back to all square after trailing from the outset. In set 3 London gunned it and won the first four frames to stretch away to a 9-5 lead.

Wins and hat tricks for Glen Tingley and Jerry Tickell in frames 16 and 17 respectively ensured London received the win bonus before the last 3 racks slipped away.

London were far from our best, but winning ugly is an important asset, if we are to go on and qualify for Yarmouth next March. This win keeps us firmly in the race.

Glen Tingley 3/4
Jerry Tickell 3/4
Pete Thomas 2/4
Adam Hewson 0/2
