A cue is like an extension to your arm for many players. Some people keep their's for years while others replace them every 6 months. How long have you owned your current cue?

LATEST MATCH REPORTS...

LONDON B 29-15 KENT

Inter CountyLONDON B 29- 15 KENT

So following on from our mixed performance against Surrey in our opening fixture we came up against a Kent side who had beaten us quite convincingly on both occasions last season.

SET 1 7-4

Going into this match as i hope we do every match we felt confident of turning the tide on our Kent counterparts after the 2 losses against them last season, and this was shown as we flew out of the blocks racing into 5-0 lead with wins from Chris Hobbis, George Hammond, Declan Kelly (joining from the A's), Andre Cox (joining from the A's) and Bruno Silva. Rob cork lost the next frame to give Kent hope of putting a run together only for Will Gayler to break dish the next frame, this was followed by 2 losses from Micky C and Pete Thomas but Tony Mcdowell then won another followed by kent winning the last frame of the first set.

SET 2 7-4

Ok so the second set kicked of in a similar fashion to the first set with Mr Hobbis winning the first followed by Kent nicking the next against an unlucky George Hammond followed by Declan, Andre and bruno all racking up wins to push us even further in front.
Kent pulled two frames back beating Rob Cork and Will Gayler before captain Micky C won his frame Pistol Pete Thomas lost but Tony Mcdowell and Dan Heinink then won to put us into a mid interval lead of 14-8.

SET 3 7-4

So the third set began with a six frame lead and us having blown a lead the previous match determined not to let this happen again.
The second set began and the ever reliable Chris Hobbis and George Hammond started with wins declan then lost followed by a win from Andre Cox.
Kent then managed to win the next two beating Bruno and Rob before the Vice captain Will Gayler and Captain Micky C stepped up to win.
Glen Hargreaves stepped into the fold having replaced Pete Thomas at the interval and was unlucky to lose his first ever frame for the B team having deserved his call up after an impressive performance for the C team last match. Tony Mcdowell and Dan Heinink then pushed us even further in front with two great wins.

SET 4 8-3

So going into the final set we only needed 2 frames to secure the win which led to a quick team talk pointing to the fact that we must first get across the line before we worry about frame difference.
Well what can i say we blew them away in the first 4 frames putting us into a 25-12 lead with wins from Chris Hobbis, George Hammond, Declan Kelly and Andre Cox.
Kent managed to win he next 3 frames beating Bruno, Rob and Will before we really hammered home the victory with wins from Micky C, Glen Hargreaves first win for the B's , Tony Mcdowell and Super Dan Heinink which gave us a fantastic 29-15 victory.

This was a great team performance from the lads having again showed some great ability on the table with the team spirit needed to build a team to be proud of.
So its now onto our next match away to Hampshire.
LETS GO AND SMASH THEM BOYS !!!!!
