A cue is like an extension to your arm for many players. Some people keep their's for years while others replace them every 6 months. How long have you owned your current cue?

LONDON LADIES HOME TO SURREY

Inter CountyWe needed a good result from this match especially after the disaster we had against Hampshire the previous month. It turned out to be a hard fought match, with games being given away by both teams. The end result was a draw and I feel was the right result. Well done to all the ladies that took part.

The first leg ended 6-5 to us and to be honest we should have won a few more.

The second leg ended 11-11 and I told the players if we were going to win we needed to step up a gear and pull a few frames ahead to make it harder for Surrey to get back into the game.

The third leg we managed to pull ahead 16-13 and it was looking good, but Surrey came back and it ended 17-16 to us.

By the fourth leg we were playing on 3 tables as the games got longer and the player fought harder to win frames. Near the end of the game we managed to be 22-20 ahead, only needing to win 1 frame from our last 2. But it was not to be and the game ended in a great fought draw. Well done to Surrey.

Player of the match was awarded to Corinne. Well done.
