A cue is like an extension to your arm for many players. Some people keep their's for years while others replace them every 6 months. How long have you owned your current cue?

Ladies Team Update

Inter CountyYes the Charlotte!Ladies Team

Just wanted to say a few points regarding the ladies team :-)

We had an excellent result against Sussex in our last game beating them a respectable 26-18. We unfortunately lost our first game against Surrey 26 -18. The game against Kent was cancelled and we are awaiting the rescheduled date. I think the morale should be high going into our match against Berkshire this coming Sunday. If we could manage a win, we could go into that all desirable second spot.

I feel our current team has potential. On the one hand, we have some very experienced and established players and on the other, we have some less experienced but enthusiastic players starting out. I have already, and will be putting together some practice sessions, some with the help of Sean Halligan and some more general team practices, with the focus on knowing the rules thoroughly and building confidence both individually and as a team.

Yes the Ange! The games that have been lost in recent years have, in my opinion been, mainly down to small but costly mistakes. With some extra practice, we could be winning these frames rather than just losing them. I will put up the dates for the practice sessions shortly and the more players there the better.

I would like to say a special mention to Charlotte Muir for playing excellently in the first game against Surrey winning three out of the four games she played. Also, a special mention to Angela Hobbs for winning a very healthy four out of four games against Sussex, both of them deserving Woman of the match respectively.

Good luck to all the London Teams this Sunday x

I was very impressed with Charlotte at the last interleague match. Having been away from both county and most of interleague last season it was great to be surprised by the progress she had made.

I do believe that everyone has it in them to improve and I hope that the players get behind the initiatives that are being offered to help them do just that.
