London Juniors Win Region 7 Title
London's Junior Team took Region 7 by storm in 2008 to win their section by a massive 35 points over their nearest rivals, and earning themselves a place at the National Finals for the first time in 14 years.
The Juniors have been strong, committed and focussed all season and Team Manager Debbie Pople was delighted with their success. "I am so proud of my boys!", she beamed. "Not only have they won the region, but 7 of the squad have earned themselves England Trials. Joe Prince, Joe Cunningham, Eno Idiong and Adam Coppen in the Under 21's and Frank Costello, Mario Vogli and Jordan O'Connor in the Juniors. Good luck to them all!".
For captain Joe Prince, the National Finals at Great Yarmouth in March will be his last match as a Junior, but it would be a fitting end to his junior career for him to see his team lift the Junior National Inter County Champions' trophy. With 7 England trialists in the side, who would bet against it?
