New Pool Venue in London - Spots & Stripes Pool Club - Southwark
Spots & Stripes Club, Arch 64, Ewer Street, Southwark, Waterloo, London SE1 0NRAs of February 2011, London will have a new exciting venue for English Pool. Easily accessible by Public Transport (5 minutes from Southwark Tube Station on the Jubilee Line and 10 minutes from Waterloo East Mainline Rail Station) as well as being centrally located within the capital, Spots & Stripes Pool Club is looking to attract serious and casual players from across London and beyond, whilst promoting pool amongst the many local businesses.
It has 8 brand new ‘Supreme’ pool tables, 6 in the main area, and 2 on the semi-private mezzanine.
Tables in the main area will be priced at Ј8 per hour (however there will be concessions for those playing ‘off-peak’ or playing individually).
Tables on the mezzanine will be priced at Ј20 per hour. This area is perfect for functions, challenge matches and corporate events.
The Club will be running a rewarding loyalty scheme in which members will receive 10p in credit for every Ј1 they spend on pool and over the bar. Membership will be FREE until the end of February.
There are plans for a wide range of tournaments and events, starting with a weekly handicap Knock-Out to be played every Monday (starting 21st February). Entry will be Ј5, with all money taken in entry fees paid out as prize money. Registration to close at 8pm and play to start at 8.15pm. It will be played to ‘World Rules’ and tables will be on free play. For more details call Andy Breen on 07534217268.
