A cue is like an extension to your arm for many players. Some people keep their's for years while others replace them every 6 months. How long have you owned your current cue?

by: Breenmachine, 03-01-2018 01:46 PM (#1)

London Ladies, Under 23s (new) Juniors and Seniors County Trials 2018

These trials will be held as follows:

Sunday 21st January

at

Spots & Stripes, Southwark (London's home venue)

Registration 11:30am for a 12:00 pm start.

The entry fee is 10 pounds.

The trials, like our county matches, are played to World Rules (including

lagging for break).

Triallists will play a minimum of 3 matches. The number of match wins required

to get into the squad will depend on the number of entrants.

London Men's County Trials 2018

These trials will be held as follows:

Sunday 28th January

at

Spots & Stripes, Southwark (London's home venue)

Registration 12 noon for a 12.30pm start.

Tables will be available earlier than that for practice.

The entry fee is 10 pounds.

The trials, like our county matches, are played to World Rules (including

lagging for break), and will use a Swiss System (a kind of shortened round

robin).

Triallists will play a minimum of 3 matches. The number of match wins required

to get into the squad will depend on the number of entrants, but based on last

year's numbers, you should expect to be playing into the evening to have a

chance of success. Like county matches themselves, it can be a long day!

Qualification criteria Please note for all categories (apart from Juniors), to be eligible to play county pool you must have played 50% of available games in a London affiliated league, reserve frames do not count. This cannot be applied retrospectively, e.g to play in the 2018 inter-county season, you must have played/be playing in the 2017/2018 league season, or have played in the 2017 summer season.
