A cue is like an extension to your arm for many players. Some people keep their's for years while others replace them every 6 months. How long have you owned your current cue?

Hi Kosala

Chiswick usually comes under the Hammersmith league, which is a pretty thriving league from what I hear. However, for various historical reasons, it doesn't come under Greater London - instead it is affiliated to Berkshire. You may wish to go to the Region 7 link on this website, which will then take you to the website for Berkshire county pool. There you will get information on the Hammersmith league.

Hope this helps

Hammersmith league is right around my area. I've always wondered why they were in Berkshire as they had a team in the Interleague KO Cup finals in October last year.

The only thing to watch out for in the Hammersmith league, and I'm 90% sure I'm right on this, is that they have 3 divisions in their league but they only play world rules in the top division.

An afterthought...

I used to play at Chiswick Snooker Club in Power Road quite a lot. They used to run singles leagues out of there regularly, if that's your sort of thing. You'd probably have to phone them if interested as I don't think they're much cop at keeping their website up to date. On a side note to my afterthought (does that make it a diagonal note or something?), they also had a couple of very attractive barmaids.

LOL behave yourself Michael!!!!! But yes, Hammmersmith does have a couple of decent Interleague teams, which usually do well in the Berkshire Interleague comp. Hammersmith's A' team has been going to Yarmouth for a couple of years and getting better, although they haven't made it to next week's finals. However, Hammersmith B is there for the first time, suggesting strength in depth. Actually Berkshire county used to play out of Chiswick Snooker Centre until last year when it swicthed to a new venue in Reading, which is actually in Berkshire!
